Leon Vincent, a Floral & Events Designer
L'Atelier, has created and designed visual artistry and special events
that have appeared in many publications and provided for many celebrities. He founded the
company, LV Designs LLC, based on his experience as a floral designer and
performing artist. In integrating the creative visual and artistic fervor of
two experiential worlds, he launches his own signature brand.
Leon began his floral career at age fifteen when his best friend
invited him to help deliver flowers for
People’s Florist on Mother’s Day. Instead of driving, Leon was
immediately entrusted to work in flowers buy the owner who was extremely busy
that day and saw that he had a natural ability for the visual art form and that
he learned quickly. He continued working
at the florist throughout high school and Virginia State University, where he
earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education his vision for the future was
to be a performing artist. Throughout the developing years of his artistic
career he supported himself by working with floral and event companies.
After many years of learning and development he grew to the
status of what many referred to as a master designer with a humble spirit.
While designing in New York City over the years he has deigned for such
publications such as the Knott Bridal Book & Magazines.
The celebrity clients include Janet Jackson, Gail King, Queen Latifah, Samuel Jackson, and a host of others. He has done work for
noted corporations and companies
including: Black Enterprise Magazine, HBO, Phillip Morris, many others. He was the
appointed designer for the Nelson Mandela 90th Birthday Celebration in New York
City. He is proud to now offer what he feels are the perfect ingredients needed
to create the total successful event experience. His goal is to deliver the highest quality of design, services and materials to clients where ever his services are recieved and to begin offering promising upcoming designers and artsians, the opportunity to expand there horizons.
